I know we are just entering the season of spring, but The Osmonds want us to be thinking about Christmas.
“The Osmond Family Christmas”, an event that usually stayed in Las Vegas, is slated to play here in Chicago during the month of December at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts The Oriental Theatre Dec 6th thru Christmas Eve the 24th.
Group sales have commenced at Broadway in Chicago.com, but individual tickets are not yet on sale.

Charlie Sheen is rocking on with added shows on sale for his “Winning” tour in Cleveland at the Playhouse on April 5th, The Palace in Columbus Ohio on April 6th and Radio City Music Hall in NY on April 8th.
Even Donald Trump is getting in the act with a booking for Sheen at the Atlantic City NJ Trump Taj Mahal Marc G Etess arena on April 16th with a top face price of $108.00, it should be noted that Sheen states on his website that “If you are winning, see you there” He also states “Trolls need not apply”. Ah Charlie, such a way with words.

Bob Seger plays the Allstate Arena on May 14th, he gets it with a reasonable face price of $75.00.

We reported recently that Dave Mathews was slated to play Chicago on July 8, 9 and 10th on the Midwest stop of his “Caravan” tour, it is now up in the air where exactly he will play this festival as complications at the Chicago site may move the festival to Alpine Valley Wisconsin, no definite information on this at press time.

Pearl Jam also is planning a festival to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band and is only playing 3 gigs in the US this year, no information at press time of this event or where it may happen.

Roger Waters is playing London for his “Wall” World Tour in late May and the scuttlebutt is David Gilmour of Pink Floyd is playing with him for 1 of the shows which will be filmed for DVD release, an exciting prospect for fans of Pink Floyd. Also watch for the release of a deluxe CD box set of the complete discography of Water’s solo releases.

U2 plays Solider Field on July 5th, tickets are still available for perhaps the greatest rock spectacle ever, promoting the “No line on the horizon” release.
